IL Burner Series

The IL Burner is designed for a wide range of low temperature as well as gas fired air heating applications, and offers a flexible solution for industrial processes that require efficient and uniform heat distribution. Its modular construction allows the burner to be configured to suit different duct sizes and heating requirements.

Each 150 mm burner module delivers an output of up to 75 kW at a natural gas head pressure of 10 mbar and up to 100 kW at 18 mbar. The IL-HC variant provides an increased capacity of up to 150 kW per 150 mm module, which is why it is suitable for applications with higher heat demands. Depending on the installation, the burner can be supplied with either a cast iron or cast aluminium manifold.

The IL Burner is designed for installation in process air ducts with airflow velocities ranging from 5 to 25 m/s. It utilises the process air to support combustion, thereby eliminating the need for a separate combustion air supply. To achieve optimum performance, uniform airflow should be maintained across the duct on both the upstream and downstream sides of the burner.

For reliable operation, the burner is intended for process air temperatures of up to 40°C at the inlet, while downstream temperatures should not exceed 200°C. Careful consideration of airflow velocity and oxygen content within the process air helps ensure stable combustion and efficient burner performance.

Its modular design offers excellent installation flexibility, with straight, X and T section configurations available to suit a variety of duct layouts and system designs. This adaptability makes the IL Burner an effective choice for diverse industrial air heating applications.
