Pilot Burner

The GTS Pilot PB-FD Series is equipped with a separate air and gas inlet. The mixing of the gas and air occurs inside the body of the burner without the need of a separate air/gas mixer.

To assure smooth operation of these pilot burners, the air and gas pressures that are fed must be greater than the pressure present in the Main Burner Connection Zone. Ignition and flame detection are achieved through the use of a single electrode, also known as Unirod electrode.

Models with dual electrodes for Ignition and Flame Ionization are also available. The electrodes are easily replaceable from outside.

The gas inlet is provided with a micrometer type adjustable regulating valve, which can be useful in using our pilots with many types of different industrial & commercially available gaseous fuels, except for fuels with lower heating values less than 4000 kcal/m3.
